HP MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thursday the 17th of May,  2018.

Student Council meetings are held at 12:30 on Tuesdays in Ms Chicarella’s room. Come and have a say in your school activities!

Tech Ed club is today at lunchtime from 12.30. All welcome

Bake Sale There will be a bake sale today(Thursday) at break time and lunch to raise money for the IWK. Be sure to bring your money! This is being done by some grade 9 students as part of their service learning project.

Grade 9’s that went to Dal yesterday, you did an awesome job and really represented HPJH is such a positive manner, well done!

Grade 8 Superstore Trip Forms are due Thursday, May 24th. Hand your forms and $5 to Ms Pratt as soon as possible.

Grade 8 Upper Clements Park Trip. The grade 8s will be going to Upper Clements Park on Friday 22 June for a day of fun and excitement. Get in your consent forms and your $25 as soon as possible.

Grade 7 Field Trips: grade 7 students are reminded to get their consent forms and money in for their trip to Atlantic Playland as soon as possible.

Grade 9 Field Trip to Bayer’s Lake: consent forms and $30 are due today,Thursday, May 17. We currently have only 17 students who have brought this in. We will need many more ensure we have enough interest in this trip.

Grade 9 - Citadel field trip forms back by Tuesday 22nd May to Ms. Ciccerella

Science extra help is today at 12.30

Teens Now Talk Contest Teens Now Talk Magazine is having a “My Favourite Teacher” contest. The winning student and teacher will receive a $100 Mic Mac Mall gift certificate. Go to the Teens Now Talk website and look under “contests” for more details.

All of the students singing with Mrs. Coward-Yaskiw in the year-end coffee house are asked to meet with her today,  at noon in the music room for a rehearsal.  Thanks!

Special Note: as spring has arrived, you are still expected to be to school and classes on time. Please consume your lunch during lunch hour, as you will not be permitted to bring your lunch to class or store leftover lunch in school fridges.

HP SPORTS

Track and Field: If you compete today or tomorrow and you do not have a drive arranged please see Mr. Lucas ASAP.

Boys Softball
There is practice today Thursday at the ball field 3:15 - 4pm. Bring your glove if you have one.
