HP MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

HPJH Ski Trip
There will be a brief but very important meeting for anyone interested in attending this year’s ski trip on Wednesday, Jan 10, at 12pm in the gym.  If you plan to go on the trip, you must be at this meeting.  There will be important important information and paperwork given out.
Highland Park Challenge Cup: It is that time of year again!!! If you like floors and or hockey then sign up for the Challenge Cup intramural hockey. It will be at lunch on either Tues/Thurs and Wednesday. Please sign up down by the gym by January 17th.
Tech Ed club will not take place until Thursday 25th January starting at 12.30pm. All welcome.
Student Council Meetings are held Tuesday at 12:30 in Ms. Chicarella’s room. Come and have a say in making life at HPJH better!
Citadel Guidance Counsellor Visits! A counsellor from Citadel will be here on Friday morning to speak with the grade 9s about selecting courses for grade 10 and the transition to high school. Make sure you are here for this important talk.
Any students who would like to sing in the Valentine’s Coffee House are asked to meet with Mrs. Coward-Yaskiw in the music room at noon on Thursday.  If you’re interested, but a little nervous, show up anyway and talk to Mrs. Coward-Yaskiw just to see what’s involved.  Thanks!
Please remember, ALL outdoor jackets must be placed in lockers and are not permitted in class. Be sure to secure your locker properly.

Basketball: The team will play their second game of the season today at 4pm at Gorsebrook.
