EXCITING NEWS!!

Imhotep’s Legacy Academy will be hosting its 1st ever Hands-on Science Activity and Science Quizbowl Tournament on September 22nd, 2018 from 12noon until 4:30 pm at the Kenneth Rowe Building, Room 1028, 6100 University Avenue, Halifax, NS. This event is in conjunction with Science Literacy Week (Sept. 17-23).

From 12noon until 2:30 pm there will be hands-on science activity where students learn about the solar system and are able to take home their representations.

From 2:30 until 4:30 pm, let the competition begin! There will be seven(7) teams made up of five(5) individuals. Questions will test your STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) knowledge. Registered teams will be provided a study guide to prepare. Teams BUZZ-IN to answer questions posed by the QuizMaster. The highest scoring team wins a trophy and a tablet for each team member.
