I show up every day to provide comfort, support and guidance to young African Nova Scotian students, whose shoes I've walked in.

The flexibility and ability to reach students through various avenues.
What would you most like families to know about the role of Student Support Workers in HRCE schools?
That the African Nova Scotian Student Support Worker program is diverse in regard to what is offered. We provide support to promote regular attendance, strategies to build self confidence, strategies for academic achievement, like work and study habits, and problem solving.
