MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Take Our Kids to Work Day for the 9’s is Wednesday November 1st. Please pass in your consent forms as soon as you can. If you need help finding a place to go or a person to shadow, please see Mr. Lang.

HPJH school clothing order forms MUST be in by Wednesday. Mr. Tortola has extra order forms and samples of the HPJH gear to try on.  See him ASAP if you have any questions. Remember, ALL orders forms must be returned NO LATER than Wednesday, Nov 1.

There will be a Halifax Explosion project meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:20 in Mr. Jerrett’s room (406).

Grade 7 tech ed: Mrs. Bradbury would like to remind you that your slide presentations should be completed and submitted in google classroom by now. If you have not completed these, please work on these for homework as she is marking them right now and many are missing. (And she misses all of you at HPJH!)

There will be a meeting for the HPJH Art club Monday (the 30th) in the art room at lunch to paint our masks. 

The first session of the HPJH Cooking Club will be held Wednesday, November 8th after school from 3 to 5pm..A sign-up sheet will be posted outside Ms Pratt’s room for those who would like to participate - we will be making snacks for visitors to the school as well as for ourselves. Please sign up if you are interested and available for that day so I know how many to plan for! There will be other sessions throughout the year, so don’t worry if you can’t make it to this one!

Touch Football and Soccer: Any players who still owe player fees and/or have not returned their jersey please see Mr. Jerrett ASAP!

Girls Volleyball: The first Girls Volleyball game will be played today at Herring Cove at 4:00pm. All players must have permission forms in or they are not permitted to play. There is a mandatory meeting for ALL players in Mr. Tortola’s room at break today. Good-luck Girls
