MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Student Council is planning a spirit week - today is Twin Day - Look for posters to see what’s happening next week.

Grade 7 tech ed: Mrs. Bradbury would like to remind you that your slide presentations should be completed and submitted in google classroom by now. If you have not completed these, please work on these for homework. Many students have not turned these in yet. No slide presentation is a failing mark in Tech ed!!!!

Grade 8 and 9 Science Students: If you have not presented your Grade 8 plant and animal cell projects or your grade 9 greatest cell discovery  to Ms. Nkala, you will need to make an appointment to present to Mrs. Bradbury on Monday 6th November. Make the appointment at lunchtimes please.

There will be a brief meeting of the HPJH Cooking Club today at the beginning of lunch to decide on groups and to look at the recipes for Wednesday’s session.

French extra help is today at lunch and after school for those who have not yet completed their Chatterpix video or post card.

There will be a tech ed club starting next Thursday lunchtime, November 9th in Mrs. Bradbury’s room. We are going to start by redesigning our Makerspace. Be ready with your ideas and to get creative!

This Friday we will be having our annual Remembrance Day assembly. All cadets are welcome to wear their uniforms to school on Friday, but please be sure you’ve asked your Commanding Officer for permission first.

HP Sports

Girls Volleyball: The girls play Armbrae Academy Today. The team will also practice tomorrow (Tuesday November 7th) after school. Goodluck Girls!

Fall Madness: There will be a signup sheet outside the gym for anyone who wants to play in the Fall Madness Intramural Basketball League.

Basketball: There will be a boys basketball tryout Today after school.

Touch Football and Soccer: Any players who still owe player fees and/or have not returned their jersey please see Mr. Jerrett ASAP!
