Today is PJ Day - tomorrow is Red Day

Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity as a peer tutor?  Please see Ms Abdille, our YMCA Youth Outreach worker at lunch time today in room 204 (beside the office).  Introduce yourself and enjoy some free snacks!!  Ask your english teacher about the role of the YMCA Outreach Worker. 
Grade 7 tech ed: Mrs. Bradbury would like to remind you that your slide presentations should be completed and submitted in google classroom by now. If you have not completed these, please work on these for homework. Many students have not turned these in yet. No slide presentation is a failing mark in Tech ed!!!!

Grade 8 and 9 Science Students: If you have not presented your Grade 8 plant and animal cell projects or your grade 9 greatest cell discovery  to Ms. Nkala, you will need to make an appointment to present to Mrs. Bradbury on Monday 6th November. Make the appointment at lunchtimes please.

There will be a tech ed club starting today at lunchtime, November 9th in Mrs. Bradbury’s room. We are going to start by redesigning our Makerspace. Be ready with your ideas and to get creative!

Cooking Club was a rousing success last night! Congratulations to all the students who participated and created some wonderful, delicious food! Keep an eye out for the next one in a few weeks!

Extra help for French is today at lunch for those who still owe Chatterpix videos or post cards.

This Friday we will be having our annual Remembrance Day assembly. All cadets are welcome to wear their uniforms to school on Friday, but please be sure you’ve asked your Commanding Officer for permission first.

Girls Volleyball: There is a practice today after school to prepare for their next game on Wednesday November 15th.

Fall Madness: There will be a signup sheet outside the gym for anyone who wants to play in the Intramural Basketball League.
